Cement your friendships and forge new relationships as you travel Israel in the company of your peers. The shared adventure is not only great fun, but also allows you the opportunity to investigate and debate, discover and grow in a supportive environment. Explore the meaning of your Jewish Identity and its relevance to your life, and meet with your Israeli counterparts who see the world so similar, yet so different, to you. You are sure to treasure memories of places, sights, conversations and thoughts that will remain with you even after you have uploaded your videos onto FaceBook.

Participate in an ISRAEL MAVEN tour and you can:

    • Bond with people your age & create life-long friendships simply by being together, living together, touring together and laughing together.
    • Hike, rappel, ski, snorkel, dive, climb, float, swim, kayak - feeling the rush of adrenalin kick in.
    • Educate yourself about your Jewish heritage and learn straight from the sources.
    • Interact with Israelis from all backgrounds and find out first-hand what life is like in the Promised Land.
    • Distinguish between myth and fact with regards to the Arab-Israel conflict and sharpen your advocacy skills.
    • Volunteer on Kibbutz, pack food parcels, plant a tree or simply donate blood – making a small, but vital impact on the welfare of others.
    • Dance at the Kotel on Friday night, linking arms in an unbroken chain

The ISRAEL MAVEN team has a wealth of experience running programs for junior & senior high school, college-age students and young professionals. Programs are typically 10-14 days long and are rightly termed a “Journey of Discovery” as participants explore the length and breadth of Israel, combining touring, hiking, volunteering, personal encounters and fun activities. Our staff is on-hand 24/7 to ensure participants’ well-being physically, emotionally and socially and we challenge them to grow within a supportive environment.

Here is what some of our participants have to say…

    • “I honestly don’t think I slept more than 5 hours a night! There was so much happening and I didn’t want to miss even a minute of it!” Andy Green, Teaneck, NJ
    • “The Israelis on our program were AWESOME. Though we are all the same age, they seem so much more mature than the Americans. I guess serving in the IDF has a large part to do with it. I admire and respect them and learnt so much in the few days we were together. Thanks guys!!!” John Kagan, Atlanta, Georgia
    • “I come from a very small Jewish community back home and was never much involved. The best part of the trip for me was meeting all of the other participants and forming close friendships. I only hope that we can stay in touch…” Simone Drake, South Carolina
